Boom Restaurant — Establishment, food and restaurant at 63 Pilots Point Drive, Westbrook, Connecticut.

Not great. We tried to make a reservation for 7PM and were told only 6:30PM was available. We arrived and the place was essentially empty except for a few tables with noisy children. At 7:10 when we left, it was still essentially empty.

The food was very marginal. The drinks were not great. The Flounder and Chips, a basic dish, had chips that were clearly cooked an hour before they were served. The bill was pretty high - over $90 with tip, for 2 entrees and 2 drinks. Ambiance was terrible. Definitely not worth the price.

Really disappointing and why we tend to cook at home when on the CT shoreline.
